The next introduction was for a very important person, who hopefully we wouldn't need! Dr Christian Bayhahn from Germany.

Finally, the most important member of the crew, was Captain Alexey Zakalashnyuk. After this first introduction to the staff, Monika explained to the passengers
the safety procedures on board, including a mandatory lifeboat drill, conducted by Oleg, the 1st officer, to the extent of bells ringing, life jackets on & an orderly
queue for the lifeboats!

After a very good dinner, a few of the passengers took to the top deck to see the start of our journey, down the Beagle Channel, with the lush green lands of
Argentina on portside & Chile on the Starboard side.
