Early this morning we had passed through the South Shetland Islands and spotted our first icebergs in Bransfield Strait, on the way to the Antarctic Sound.

Seeing your first iceberg on the horizon is pretty exciting stuff, but when you get closer & realise its bigger than the ship you are on, its amazing.
Then when you notice they are literally all around you, thoughts of the Titanic spring to mind!

The colours, shapes, carvings, and fractures are so astounding, I just hope some of the photos do them justice.
